My Bio
Raised by a pack of wild Bichon Frieses in the marshes of southeastern Michigan, Jim is suspected to be the oft-rumored love child of Burt Reynolds and a young chupacabra named Heidi. His first spoken language was known to scholars as BASIC, an obscure form of pidgin English consisting mostly of grunts, whistles, and GOTO statements. At age 7 he was brought (forcibly) into civilized society, where he remains as a tax-paying citizen to this date.

Finally, after 2 years or more, I've gotten around to updating my web site. The main difference is that I've finally set up a decent art gallery system, including written descriptions of everything. (I've had artwork up on my website since 1995, but I've never done anything fancier than plain images before.) I wrote my own gallery code in PHP, which is nice because it allows me to associate more than one image with a particular piece of artwork. Much of what I do is sculpture, which is best shown off from multiple angles, but I've never seen an online gallery that supports this concept. I also like being able to show work-in-progress pictures

I don't even remember what motivated me to sign up for a dA account one year ago, but I'm glad that I did.  Despite the fact that art and music were major components of my college education, I took a job in the software industry immediately after I graduated, and I have found myself in a creative slump ever since.  It's a sad fact that for several years, my most artistic endeavor was picking the dead bits off my houseplants.  The thing is, I love, love, LOVE art, and I guess I finally realized that I needed to stir things up a bit to get myself motivated.  It seems to have worked, too: Even though I haven't put that much effort into dA, it ha

Hey Jim! Happy Birthday dude! I saw you were active here, and this is the only way I know how to get in touch with ya nowadays.
Hello,
How is going the tutorial for the pyramid head helmet?
Hello, I'm very interested on building a pyramid head helm like yours for a costume, could you send me a detailed description of how you made it? (materials, procedure...)
I would be really grateful.
My e-mail is: "skull_knight_ride@hotmail.com"

Thank you in advantage, I'll understand if you don't want or don't have time to do it.
How much would you charge me if I had you build another pyramid head mask like the one in your gallery?

Please reply soon.
I'm not especially interested in doing commission work at the moment, but since I could use some extra cash... $3000. Less than that and it wouldn't be worth it to me.
Keep in touch with me. I'll probably ask you about it again soon.
Hey Jim! Thanks for the counter-stalk! I had no idea you did stuff like this. WAY cool! :>
